Its 6 inch parabolic primary mirror has 610mm of focal length, making the fast f/4 Newtonian an ideal wide-field astrophotography telescope. Both primary and secondary mirrors boast enhanced reflectivity (94%) aluminum coatings with a protective silicon dioxide (quartz) overcoat.
To optimize contrast and avoid off-axis light intrusion near the front of the telescope, the dual-speed 2 inch linear-bearing design Crayford focuser has been installed a full 7 inch back from the front of the compact 22.5 inch long reflector optical tube. For consistent results every night, an Orion-exclusive steel reinforcing plate underneath the focuser eliminates flexure, even with heavy cameras and other imaging gear attached. As with any fast Newtonian reflector telescope, an optional coma corrector is recommended to eliminate inherent coma for optimized imaging performance.

Who said you have to be in the dark to do astronomy! Turning your binoculars to the Sun is fun and educational when you have protective full-aperture solar filters installed. Watch the march of giant sunspots, the clouds of glowing vapor in the photosphere, and solar granulation detail. But be sure to protect your precious vision with safe Orion solar filters! Looking at the Sun without properly installed solar filters, even for an instant, can permanently damage your eyes. This set of two solar filters with an inside diameter of 4.30″ fit Orion 20×80 Astronomy binoculars so you can enjoy safe solar observations. These full-aperture optical glass filters deliver superb views of the Sun, without risk to your eyes. While more expensive than Mylar filters, Orion solar filters provide better contrast, a more natural yellow-orange – color rather than blue – and are more durable. The glass elements are machine-polished and triple-coated with an advanced nickel-chromium stainless steel alloy for a scratch-resistant surface. The filter passes only a fraction of the incoming light, rejecting harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation. Each filter is mounted in an aluminum cell that slide-fits over the objective lenses of the binoculars. CAUTION: Never look at the Sun, either directly or through binoculars, without a professionally made protective solar filter installed that completely covers the front of the instrument, or permanent eye damage could result.
This is a highly-flexible stereo microscope, designed for workshops and industrial inspection. Featuring a simul-focal head, the photo port can be used concurrent with both eyepieces, allowing you to have an active imaging system without losing use of one of the eyepieces. The objective optics offer a contiuous zoom-range from 0.7 to 4.5X, providing 7-45X magnification with the 10X high-eyepoint, super-widefield eyepieces. The addition of a 0.5X Barlow lens reduces the magnification range to 3.5-22.5X for a larger field of view, as well as a larger working distance. This model also provides a zoom lock to maintain a fixed magnification for calibrated measurement applications. The nosecone provides a built-in ring-light adapter, as well as inner threading for auxiliary lenses and other attachments.

The AmScope M200C-LED cordless monocular compound microscope has interchangeable 10x widefield and 25x widefield eyepieces, a forward-facing nosepiece with three DIN achromatic objectives, LED illumination, coaxial coarse and fine focus, a 0.65 NA single-lens condenser, and a plain stage. The monocular viewing head has a fixed 45-degree vertical inclination to reduce eye and neck strain, and 360-degree rotation capability to enable sharing. The forward-facing revolving nosepiece has 4x, 10x, and 40xS DIN achromatic objectives that provide color correction of magnified images. The microscope has lower (diascopic) Brightfield illumination that transmits light up through the specimen for enhanced visibility of translucent and transparent objects. Brightfield (BF) illumination allows the specimen to absorb light, resulting in a dark image on a light background. LED illumination provides bright, cool light for working with temperature-sensitive or live specimens, and a rheostat controls the amount of light emanating from the lamp. The 0.65 NA single-lens condenser and disc diaphragm optimize the amount of light illuminating the specimen. The plain stage is 4-3/8 x 4-3/4 inches (W x D; where W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). It has an opening for light transmission, stage clips to secure the slide or specimen in place while viewing, and an upper stage stop to prevent the stage or specimen from coming into contact with the objectives. Separate coaxial coarse and fine focus eases focusing for left- and right-handed viewers, and a rack-and-pinion mechanism provides precise and secure focusing. All the mechanical parts of the microscope are constructed of metal to provide durability and resistance to wear. The cast-alloy metal frame has a stain-resistant enamel finish for durability and to ease cleaning. The microscope can be powered by 110V power supply or three AA batteries (included).
