The Leica 8×32 ultravid HD binoculars (40290) stand out not only because of their extreme compactness, but also their new HD lenses, which gives them increased high-end performance. These binoculars are ideal for use in good light conditions. The Leica ultravid HD 40290 housing is provided with shock-absorbent rubber armoring to protect it from getting damaged. The slip-proof armoring ensures safe handling, and in conjunction with the ergonomic shape of the glass, ensures the binoculars can be gripped safely even in wet weather, and while wearing gloves. The 32 mm HD 40290 is watertight to five meters and nitrogen-filled. The Leica 8×32 ultravid HD binoculars are supplied in a high-quality padded codura case for optimum protection. The versatile Leica Geovid HD combines the functions of viewing and rangefinding in optical and electronic harmony, while also performing admirably as a simple, “grab and view” binocular for use in any situation. The use of aspherical lenses offers the observer sharpness to the edge with no color fringing. The Ultravids are covered with black leather for a classic, elegant look.
